Xfinity Mobile, answered
It is Xfinity’s wireless service on a nationwide network, sold only to Xfinity Internet customers. Phones use cellular coverage plus Xfinity’s WiFi hotspot network of over twenty million access points. The line is managed in the Xfinity app and billed on the same account as your internet.
Xfinity waives the monthly charge on one new line for twelve months when you hold an eligible Xfinity Internet plan. From month thirteen the line bills at the regular price of whichever plan you picked. Taxes and fees are not covered by the promotion. Eligibility turns on the internet plan and the service address; we check both on the call.
Xfinity Mobile has two plans. Mobile Select includes unlimited talk, text and data and travel coverage in 215-plus destinations. Mobile Plus adds 4K video, device protection, a guaranteed discount on a yearly phone upgrade, and spam-call protection. For Xfinity Internet customers both start at a lower first-year price and then move to the regular rate.
They share unlimited US talk and text, unlimited use in over 215 destinations, hotspot data, WiFi PowerBoost and HD video. Usually. Xfinity Mobile accepts a wide range of unlocked, compatible phones, and moving a number from another carrier is part of activation. We check your phone’s compatibility on the call, and the number transfer is requested with the order.
There is no hard cap that cuts service off. Select streams video in HD, and Plus in 4K Ultra HD. When the network is congested, Xfinity may temporarily slow data for heavy users past a usage threshold, as carriers commonly do. Heavy data users should mention it on the call, and we compare Select and Plus against what you actually use.
