a live channel lineup
Live news, local stations and regional sports arrive over the same fiber as your internet. Recordings go to a cloud DVR instead of a box under the TV, and there is no dish to mount.
streaming you already pay for
Households paying for three or four streaming services often do better keeping them and choosing the fiber tier that carries them. On the call we compare that total with a TV package and tell you which is lower.
going streaming-only
Streaming-only works when the connection carries every stream that runs at the same time. Netflix puts one 4K stream at about 15 Mbps, so four at once is roughly 60 Mbps before phones, laptops and consoles. We total your household’s streams on the call.

live sport and local news are the case for a package
Take those two away and a few streaming services on a fiber line usually cost less than a lineup. When that is true for your household, that is what we tell you, even though it means no TV order.

what the call covers
Prices come from Kinetic whichever way you order. The call adds an address lookup and a line-by-line monthly total before you commit.
what fiber changes in the evening
Your fiber connection is not pooled with the neighbors the way a cable node is, which removes one reason speeds dip around 7 p.m. It is not a speed promise: Kinetic’s network further upstream has limits of its own, and in a typical home the bottleneck is the Wi-Fi, not the line coming in.
