Verizon 5G Home Internet® & LTE Home
5G Home reaches the house by radio from Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network, so there is no coaxial or copper line to install. At an address without 5G Ultra Wideband coverage, Verizon may offer LTE Home, which works the same way over its LTE network. The check on the call shows which of the two, if either, Verizon offers at your address.

Fios TV requires an active Fios Internet connection at the same address. Set-top box rental, Regional Sports Network fees, and Broadcast fees are billed by Verizon in addition to the package rate and are disclosed on the order line before you commit.

Gear and coverage
All four items come from Verizon: two pieces of network hardware, a device protection plan and cloud storage. Some are included with certain tiers and some are billed separately; we tell you which on the call.
Hardware
One device for fiber plans, another for 5G Home.
Fiber plans run on the Fios Router and 5G Home plans on the Verizon Internet Gateway, in Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E. On Fios 300 and Fios 500 the router is rented; the other tiers include it.
Hardware
Adds Wi-Fi to rooms the router cannot reach.
Fios 1 Gig and Fios 2 Gig include the rental. On the other tiers it is billed as a monthly add-on.
Protection
Coverage for eligible devices around the house.
Protects eligible home tech on the account against breakdowns and adds tech support. Coverage terms, claim limits, and deductibles are set by Verizon and its underwriter.
Backup
Online backup for photos, contacts and files.
Sold in storage tiers, and 5G Home Plus comes with Verizon Cloud Unlimited. It backs up phone and computer content to Verizon's servers.

Ordering more than one service? We put them on one Verizon account and set the install dates with Verizon so they arrive in a sensible order.
Verizon updates its promotions regularly, and a web page can fall behind. On the call we quote the offer in effect that day and the standard rate it rolls to.
An FCC filing summarized by ZIP tells us Verizon reports service in the area, not whether it serves your building. We run the street address through Verizon's serviceability check and tell you which tiers come back before you agree to anything.

In our ZIP search, Verizon Fios and Verizon 5G Home each get their own row, with the maximum speed Verizon filed with the FCC and the share of the ZIP it reports covering. That narrows it down but cannot settle one address: Fios is built street by street, and 5G Home needs 5G Ultra Wideband coverage right at the building. Call (877) 365-2069 and we enter your street address in Verizon's serviceability system while you hold, then list the tiers it returns.

Verizon's advertised rates need both Auto Pay, from a bank account or eligible card, and paperless billing by email; together they carry a $10/mo discount that Verizon applies. Turn off Auto Pay, or have a payment fail, and that discount comes off. Separately, when a promotional term ends, the standard rate in the table above applies.
Fios: usually a Verizon technician, booked with Verizon, since the fiber line must be terminated inside the home. Some addresses already wired for Fios can self-install, and we say on the call whether yours qualifies. 5G Home: Verizon sends a plug-and-play kit by mail, and setup means positioning the gateway, powering it on and following the app.
The internet tiers on this page do not: they bill month to month, there is no annual contract, and cancelling carries no early termination fee. A Verizon price guarantee, on plans that have one, fixes your rate for a published term; it holds Verizon to that price without tying you to Verizon. Phones on a device payment agreement are a separate matter with their own terms, and we go through those before you order.
